We’re delighted to announce that we have appointed Jamie Boyes as Account Manager to develop and lead the company’s growing catering division.
Jamie, from Marton in Blackpool, has worked in recruitment for nearly 3 years in a variety of roles starting from trainee consultant up to Business Development Manager, and he has first-hand experience in the hospitality sector having started his career as a Commis Chef at The Ruskin Hotel in Blackpool.
Jamie will manage our growing catering division, working specifically with venues such as schools, care homes and hospitals, to provide interim cooks for their kitchens.
Commenting on his new role, Jamie added: “Having come from a catering and hospitality background I understand the needs of both our clients and our cooks. Interim cooks provide an essential resource for the catering and hospitality industry, providing kitchens with an extra boost whenever they need it.”
CJUK have experienced a surge in demand for catering cooks over the past year, and have appointed Jamie to manage and develop the department.
Katie Mellor, Director of CJUK, said: “We have supplied the catering sector for many years, but over the past 12 months we have experienced a significant rise in demand. Jamie will solely work with the catering cooks and clients, making sure that we are finding the right cooks and matching them with the right jobs. Since Jamie joined a month ago we have already seen the department grow considerably, he is an excellent addition to our team.”
The CJUK catering team is always looking for new talent, and is working to source catering professionals that have come from different backgrounds. Jamie added: “If you have experience working in kitchens, even if you haven’t done it for a while, please get in touch with me if you are interested in finding out more about working with CJUK.”
