Chef de Partie – £11-£12ph – 4* Hotel

We are looking to recruit an Interim Chef de Partie for a 53 bedroom, 4* Hotel in the Lake District.

The Hotel’s restaurant prides itself on high standards and makes sure to use the freshest ingredients wherever possible. Guests can choose to eat from the table d’hôte menu or if fancying something more casual there are plenty of more relaxed hearty dishes to enjoy in the lounge.

If you are an experienced Chef de Partie and looking to start working as soon as possible, then CJUK have the perfect job for you!

As an Interim Chef de Partie your role may include;

• Preparing fresh ingredients
• Following guidance from the Head Chef / Sous
• Demonstrate strict health and hygiene levels
• Capable and flexible to adapt to a variety of differing menus

The ideal Interim Chef de Partie must;

• Have at least two years’ experience working within a Chef de Partie role
• Be able to cope with high volumes of food in busy environment
• Be able to multi-task and adapt to the current needs of the kitchen prior to and during service
• Excellent use of cooking methods
• Great knowledge of ingredients
• You must have your own chefs whites, knives and shoes

Benefits include;

• Excellent rate of pay, between £11-£12ph for an interim Chef de Partie
• You will work a minimum of 40 hours a week
• A contribution to travel expenses will be available (dependent on location)

• You will be paid weekly on a PAYE basis and accrue holiday pay accordingly
