Interim Head Chef – Oxford – £13ph to £14ph – 4* Hotel

We are looking to recruit an Interim Head Chef for a busy 4* Hotel only 20 minutes’ walk from the Oxford City Centre. Working predominantly with fresh produce, this 180 bedroom Hotel working at 1AA Rosette standard is set in elegant parkland near the Thames giving you plenty to do in your downtime.

Aiming to create imaginative and creative dishes, the restaurant has a real focus on using the freshest ingredients possible. Functions are a staple at the hotel, with weddings and events of 200+

If you are an experienced Head Chef and are looking to start working as soon as possible, then CJUK have the perfect job for you!

As an Interim Head Chef your role may include;

• Working under the Executive Chef to meet high standards that have been set
• Be involved in working across the diverse kitchen which serves, lunch, dinner, breakfast
• Be able to help develop new ideas for the menus
• Demonstrate strict health and hygiene level

The ideal Interim Head Chef must;

• Have been working within a similar role for two years
• Have experience in similar establishments
• Have experience with Conference and Banqueting for up to 200 people
• Fully understand fresh ingredients and how they can work together
• Be competent in creating menus and being able to train other staff
• Be able to multi-task and adapt to the current needs of the kitchen prior to and during service
• You must have your own chefs whites, knives and shoes
• Have a high standard of food preparation and be able to deal with high volumes of orders
• Have a Food Hygiene Certificate from within the last three years – If you need to update yours please click here

• An hourly pay rate of £13 to £14ph
