Kate Shoesmith is Head of Policy & Public Affairs at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC). She is responsible for policy, stakeholder & membership engagement and influencing for the organisation.

The REC is the professional body for the UK’s recruitment industry, which last year helped over 600,000 people find a new permanent job and on any given day, had 1.1 million agency workers out on assignment.

The REC is a leading voice for employment and Kate works on their key campaigns for Youth Employment, the value of Flexible Working, Diversity and Women on Boards.
