CJUK recently held two social events for our talented chef brigade so they could get to know each other and so we could understand what they hold of value in their roles.
The Northern and Southern Social evenings were a fantastic way for our team to meet the chefs they work with daily, speaking to them in depth about what they enjoy the most about their jobs (and what they don’t!) so they can always be placed in roles that are most suitable for them.
Holding the events was also a great opportunity for our chefs to socialise with each other and for them to share similar experiences whilst working as an interim chef.
Katie Mellor, Director at CJUK, said: “The passion and energy from our chefs at the events was really inspiring. It was amazing to hear how working with us has provided them with more flexibility and a better work-life balance, meaning they no longer have to miss out on socialising with their families and friends!”
We were also delighted to present Philip, a longstanding CJUK chef, with a retirement gift at our Northern event after he worked with us for 11 years!
Philip completed almost 600 jobs with us since he joined in 2007 and has always been a favourite among our northern client base.
