Adam Reid – Head Chef @ Adam Reid at The French

adam-reid-north-west-head-shot-smallAdam Reid, started his culinary career at age 16, following training at the Heathcotes School of Excellence. With vast experience in the industry, having worked at some amazing places including; Mallory Court Hotel, Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor and Brockencote Hall, when Adam returned to Manchester in 2013 he joined Simon Rogan to launch The French at The Midland Hotel.

This was his first role as a Head Chef and within the year, he was awarded The Caterer’s Acorn Award, which recognises the brightest prospects in the hospitality industry. Having also recently competed in BBC Two’s Great British Menu, he wowed the judges with his dessert ‘Golden Empire’ and it won him a place at the grand banquet.

Simon Rogan has recently ended his successful three-year partnership with The Midland Hotel and The French by Simon Rogan became Adam Reid at The French, with exciting visions for the restaurant Adam tells the Manchester Evening News all about it here.
